This hotel was clean and had an excellent, friendly, and efficient staff, plus it was located in an unbeatable spot near the theater and family celebrations, as well as the Auto Train.

appreciated my wonderful stay and will definitely go again next time. clean and ideal place and the breakfast was complimentary and very very good. there were exceptionally comfortable beds and a coffee machine and complimentary wi-fi in the standard king room. the bathroom was large with bathtub.

This place is immaculately clean, has extremely helpful staff, and offers an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains, making for a really good stay, as always.

Not told that the facility was under construction! The guy at the counter was a poor representative of a holiday in employee as I have stayed at a lot of them, messy and unprofessional! First, I had a sweet with no chairs or pictures on the wall, like a $120 jail cell! Second, signs said construction times were 9-6 , I had to contact the front desk at 7 as they were still making loud noises and working after 7! Next my 7:30 impact gun wake up call! No even near 9am! I should have been told prior to booking that the hotel was under construction! And last, the breakfast area was very dusty from construction! No one vacuumed after the contractors left at 7:30 pm and the halls were dusty and all the stainless was covered with dust!

Very nice hotel, would recomend this to anyone. Location was close to Skyline drive.

Had a room with leaky air conditioner but staff moved us to another room it was just in inconvenient after a long day on the road

The setting is FAVOURABLE and comfortable, close to National Parks across the country, the mountains and the common areas. There's a lot of restaurants to choose from, like Granny's Pancake Cottage, located within 10 minutes walk or so, we truly enjoyed this place.
